Tell us what you feed

Hay bought by description arrives as a surprise about a third of the time. Opening one bale in front of you settles the question before forty of them are stacked in your barn.
Forage is a natural product that varies by cutting. We will tell you what a load actually is rather than what you hoped it was.

We sell forage. We are not veterinarians or nutritionists, and what to feed a particular animal — especially one that is metabolic, elderly or in hard work — is a question for your vet or a qualified nutritionist. We will happily get a load analysed so that conversation has real numbers in it. And no supplier can promise natural forage is perfectly free of weeds or foreign material, so check your bales as you feed.
Yes, and you should. We will open a bale for you. Anyone unwilling to do that is telling you something.
We will tell you, honestly. First and second cuttings differ a lot, and pretending otherwise just produces an unhappy customer and a returned load.
That is a question for your vet or an equine nutritionist, not for us. What we can do is get the hay tested so they have real numbers to work from.
Yes. Delivery is quoted separately and up front, and we stack where you want it provided the truck can get in.
Tell us straight away. Forage varies, and if it is not what you were shown we would rather sort it out than argue.
Off the ground, under cover, with air moving. Hay that arrives in good condition still spoils in a damp, closed barn.
